But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. Isaiah 53: 3
When I think of The Blood sacrifice…I think of The Love…
There was a time when I was afraid of the dark and so the very thought of my venturing out in the dark was a no brainer. In other words, my brain said: “No!” when the thought even crossed my mind.
That no longer is a problem for me. Would I now run out fearlessly into the night? Nope, not unless God gives me the go- ahead.
It wasn’t my plan to go in this direction, but I want to say that you won’t hear people of other faiths saying this. You won’t hear them talk of such a well layered, well thought out plan of God protecting them. You won’t hear them talking about how God has entered into a covenant with them. You won’t hear them talk about the Blood of Jesus. Well, not yet, but soon.
I am sure that is why there have been so many Muslims converting to Christianity because of God’s multiple proofs and truths of His provision for each one of us. But, nothing is more powerful than the Blood Provision. Let’s read below:
1 John 1:7 (Amplified Bible)
7But if we [really] are living and walking in the Light, as He [Himself] is in the Light, we have [true, unbroken] fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses (removes) us from all sin and guilt [keeps us cleansed from sin in all its forms and manifestations].
It says that if we are walking right….the Blood cleanses of us all sin and the amplified bible says keeps us cleansed of sin in all forms and manifestations.
That’s a mouthful! The bible says that sins pays out in death. That death can come in many forms including sickness, accidents and the unimaginable. You see there is an accuser of the brethern (Satan) who walks around looking for a way to take us out. This is all biblical.
Well the Blood of Jesus is something good to know about, but everyday…I plead my case before GOd and all I have to say for the protection of myself and my family is: “I plead the Blood.”
When some people go to court and don’t want to get in trouble they say: “I plead the fifth.” It gives them an out. But, I live right before God and man and I….plead The Blood! So can you.
