Sin and The Blood Covering! by Elaine Davenport November 1- November 8, 2009

I know it is hard for some people to understand; but despite the world we live in, our God is Holy.  Despite the fact that we all live a certain way in our modern society with all of its conveniences, our God is Holy.

Jesus got on the cross and died and redeemed us with his blood.  If you are a sinner saved by grace, then you’ve been redeemed from the curse of sickness, poverty and spiritual death.  You can lay down the Blood of JesuS to protect you and your family.  THIS IS IMPORTANT:   but make sure that you are not in sin and that you follow the statutes of God.

Let’s look at the passover in Exodus 12:

Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said unto them, Draw out and take you a lamb according to your families, and kill the Passover. And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the basin; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning. For The Lord will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, The Lord will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you. And ye shall observe this thing for an ordinance to thee and to thy sons for ever.” (Exodus 12:21-24 KJV)

If you will notice there are some very specific things that the Lord is saying but just as important God was not protecting or instructing  during a time of disobedience.  Those who did not obey these specific instructions would perish.  That is clear.

You cannot see the Blood of Jesus, when you apply it (well most can’t, but there are some who can) but demons see it.  It is a marker to them and they cannot cross that Blood barrier.
