I plead the Blood of Jesus everyday for myself and my family and for specific people that I pray for.

THe Blood of Jesus is powerful.  The bible says and I know that it protects us from sin and the manifestations of sin.     Just what is a manifestation of sin?

It is the realization or real life results of sin.  Sin can be overt or covert and we could be  the person who committed the sin or in the wrong place at the wrong time as the result of sin committed by another.  There are also sins of ommission and even disobedience is a sin.

The bible promises believers a Blood victory.  I rely on the Blood of Jesus to protect me  and I totally trust God.  Please I encourage you to meditate on the scriptures below:

But if we [really] are living and walking in the Light, as He [Himself] is in the Light, we have [true, unbroken] fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses (removes) us from all sin and guilt [keeps us cleansed from sin in all its forms and manifestations]. 1 John 1: 7

Revelation 12:11 “And they overcame him (Satan) by the blood
of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony …”

There is so much to be thankful for…Oh Yeah!

I know it is hard for some people to understand; but despite the world we live in, our God is Holy.  Despite the fact that we all live a certain way in our modern society with all of its conveniences, our God is Holy.

Jesus got on the cross and died and redeemed us with his blood.  If you are a sinner saved by grace, then you’ve been redeemed from the curse of sickness, poverty and spiritual death.  You can lay down the Blood of JesuS to protect you and your family.  THIS IS IMPORTANT:   but make sure that you are not in sin and that you follow the statutes of God.

Let’s look at the passover in Exodus 12:

“Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said unto them, Draw out and take you a lamb according to your families, and kill the Passover. And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the basin; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning. For The Lord will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, The Lord will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you. And ye shall observe this thing for an ordinance to thee and to thy sons for ever.” (Exodus 12:21-24 KJV)

If you will notice there are some very specific things that the Lord is saying but just as important God was not protecting or instructing  during a time of disobedience.  Those who did not obey these specific instructions would perish.  That is clear.

GOD ABHORS UNCONFESSED SIN.  GOD FORGIVES CONFESSED SIN.  REPENT AND BE CLEANSED!

You cannot see the Blood of Jesus, when you apply it (well most can’t, but there are some who can) but demons see it.  It is a marker to them and they cannot cross that Blood barrier.

“He has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.” (Colossians 1:13)

God did some powerful stuff in that one verse!  He:

1.  Delivered us from the power of darkness

2.   Translated ( or transferred us) into the kingdom of GOd

3.  Put us under Jesus care who paid a Blood price (his own) for us which we can still use for protection

4.  Allowed His loving Son Jesus to override the cost (death) for our sins that we kept repeating.  (the forgiveness of sins)

Before I became close to God long enough to learn about the power of the Blood of Jesus, I was having at least ten car accidents per year.  I didn’t drink so that wasn’t it.  Most of the time it was not my fault.  Two times I backed into cars that I never saw.  It was horrible!  Most of the time I was hit by people who were on drugs or medicine.  Once I was driving down the street cautiously and was hit so severely that my shoulder broke!    I am certain it was a family curse.  People in my family had been in horrifying car accidents over the years.  Of course, my car insurance was sky high.

Something had to be done…but, I did not know how to stop it.

At one point, I stopped driving.  No one shed a tear.  Worse than stopping was the fear that gripped me.  Once the devil had me in fear; he could render me useless.

When I realized that my staying at home would make me miss church, I started back driving.  I found myself a bible teaching church and learned about: The Blood of Jesus!

The Blood of Jesus heals, protects, seals, delivers and covers all I have to do is plead the blood over what is important to me.  I began to do this.  It’s been eleven years since I’ve had a car accident. The Blood, The Blood, The Blood of Jesus has kept me. I’m so thankful.
